How do I create a user account?
  1. Go to the login page and press the link to register.
  2. Fill in the required fields, the password must have a length of at least 6.
  3. Press the signup button.
  4. In order to improve the ability of the StreamSpin core to match services to your context, go to the MyAccount - MyInfo page, and fill out additional personal information.

How do I use the email push private service?
  1. Go to the Services page and find the Pop3 email private service.
  2. Press the subscribe button.
  3. Name your subscription, it is possible to subscribe multiple times to the Pop3 email service, thus having multiple email accounts pushed to your mobile device.
  4. Fill out the email server, username, and password according to the login information from your email provider.
  5. Press the subscribe button.


  7. Go to MySubscriptions - Non Approved, and approve the service with the subscription name you just typed in.
  8. You are now subscribed, and will receive emails on your mobile device when your are online.

How do I use the RSS private service?
  1. Go to the Services page and find the RSS private service.
  2. Press the subscribe button.
  3. Name your subscription, it is possible to subscribe multiple times to the RSS service, thus having multiple RSS feeds pushed to your mobile device.
  4. Fill out the RSS feed URL
  5. Press the subscribe button.
  6. Go to MySubscriptions - Non Approved, and approve the service with the subscription name you just typed in.
  7. You are now subscribed, and will recieve RSS feeds on your mobile device when your are online.

How do I add a friend?
  1. Go to the My Friends page and select Add A Friend.
  2. Fill in the search parameters and press Search
  3. Press the Invite link next to the friend you wish to invite.
  4. You can now see the invitation under My Friends - My Invitations.
  5. When your friend approves the invitation you will see your friend under My Friends - My Friends.

How do I approve a friend?
  1. Go to the My Friends - Non Approved Friends page and click the Approve link next to to the invitation.
  2. You can now sent messages to your friend, and see his location under My Friends - Friend Map if he allows friends to see his location.

How do I Create a Tour with the Tourbuilder Service?
  1. Go to the Services tab and Subscribe to the Tour Builder Service. This will open the Tour Builder website and allow you to configure your tour.

    The First thing is to fill in the Tour Info

    Give the new tour a name, and a description.

    Provide a thresshold in meters. The thresshold tells the tour server how close a user must be within a seight to recieve a notification.

    The tour can only be saved when one or more seights has been added.


  3. Next you select an image to represent your tour - press the browse button



  5. Now you will add a seight to the tour - press the New Seight link button to open the new seight form

    Provide a name and description for the seight, and choose an image.



  7. Press the Choose button to select the location of the seight. This will bring up a Google map form



  9. Selecting the location of your seight will close the Google map form. Press the Create Seight button to close the seight form, and press Create Tour to create the tour.



  11. Congratulations, you have created your first tour.

How do I start a Tour?
  2. Open the mobile client and click the Menu button.
  4. Click the Start Service sub-menu button.
  6. Select the Tour Service you wish to start.
  8. A new page will load.

    Click the Close button to close the new page when the tour started text appears.
  10. The tour is started, and seights will appear whenever youre within distance.

How do I subscribe to a Service?
  1. Go to the Services page and find the service you want to subscribe to
  2. Click the Subscribe link in the Service box.
  3. Fill in custom service settings if any.
  4. Go to the My Subscriptions page.
  5. Click the Non-Approved link.
  6. Approve the subscription you just created.
  7. You are now subscribed to the Service.

How do I get location-specific messages without GPS?
  1. Press the My Account link in the left menu.

    Then press the My Locations link.

    This brings up the Locations page with a Google map.


  3. Click the map to make a location. This will create a New Location entry in the list of locations.

    Click the New Location text in the list of locations.

    Rename the location and describe it.

How do I create a private service?
  1. Click the My Services tab.
  2. Click the New Private link.
  3. Select a service group. Name and describe the service.

    If you wish to protect the service, supply a subscription password.

    If the service requires setup, provide and URL to the setup page.
    Three request parameters are available to the setup page. userid, i.e., the id of the user wanting to subscribe to the service. sid, the id of the service to which the user is wanting to subscribe. sop, is either create or update, i.e., whether it is a new service subscription or an update of an existing subscription.

    The start service url is an url used whenever a user wishes to specifically start a service from the mobile client. An example of this functionality can be seen in the tour builder tutorials.

    Select an image for the service, select whether the service requires setup, and select whether to make the service public to other users.

    Click the Create Service button.
    You have now created a private service, a subscription to the service has automatically been created but must be approved.
